Caps Face Rangers to Start Play-Offs

So its that time of year again, Stanley Cup Play-Offs! The Capitals will be facing the New York Rangers to start their road to the finals and take home the Stanley Cup for the first time! (hopefully) I personally believe that Capitals have had enough punishment in the last 2 seasons and get knocked out of the play-offs early especially the year where we were just a round away from heading to the finals. This year is Caps year! ROCK THE RED! Game 1 is tomorrow (April 13,2011) at 7:30pm est!

WOW Justin Bieber fails! How on earth are you gonna let your mother lean too close to the candles on her birthday cake?! I mean really?! and this wasnt just a regular celebration at home or a resturaunt, it was ON STAGE! HOW EMBARASSING!!! HAHAHAHA makes me laugh so hard just imagining how it happened. As many can tell I HATE JUSTIN BIEBER! WHY? cause he is just a marketing tool. His looks is what is bringing in the money for Usher! Justin Bieber is another N'sync, Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, and Jonas Brothers. Justin Bieber's career will die in the near future for acouple of reasons, 1. there will be a new teen pop sensation, 2.his voice is deepening(he is only 16 lmao), 3. he is gonna end up doing something that he will regret doing and all his fans will hate him. Anyways this isnt the point of this blog post, the point is just that he needs to plan ahead of time to prevent this incident from occuring again cause im sure his mom is gonna be super paranoid about it now.

Well I think its time for alittle update on my new boo :)well her name is Alissa she is really beautiful and perfect :) we have been dating for about 2 months now (7 days till 2 months). She is really smart, funny, outgoing and just all around amazing person. Her smile is super cute as well as her eyes and laugh. She makes me the happiest guy ever! never ever felt this happy before :) I am super lucky to have someone like her because she treats me right and I treat her the way she needs to be treated just like a princess. Valentine's Day is coming up and I hope to take her out to dinner to make a combo of our 2 months and Valentine's Day. Shes my boo, mi amor, mi vida, my baby, my babe, my everything! As of Tuesday, Feb 1, 2011, The first map pack has been released for the fairly new Call Of Duty: Black Ops. On the day of release I was able to get the money and play the maps until this day, I wanna say so far the maps seem to fit my expections when it comes to maps that are released to any of the past Call Of Duty games, the only issue we have of the First Strike map pack is that the new multiplayer maps have too many spots where campers can become a major issue and like me and many other players who play...WE HATE CAMPERS!...campers just ruin the fun of the game because for one, it just makes the game longer! But I do have to say I like the scenary on the new maps and the small entry ways throughout the maps. On another note along with 4 new multiplayer maps( Stadium, Discovery, Berlin Wall, and Kowloon) the First strike map pack brings a new zombie map known as Ascension which has zombie monkeys which I find very funny. As I continue to explore these maps more I will have an update post :)

After a wonderful win against the New York Islanders last night, the Washington Capitals start their season 3-1 with a 3 game winning streak. On saturday's game, Alex Ovechkin gave the Capitals their second win of the season by scoring in OT against the Ottawa Senators. Last night, Ovechkin saves the day again by making a last minute goal towards the end of the 3rd pd giving the Capitals a 2-1 win over the Senators. I have hopes for the Capitals this season, maybe a finally Stanley Cup in DC? we will have to find out! LETS GO CAPS!

Cirque Du Soleil Comes to the National Harbor

Cirque Du Soleil's production OVO is at the National Harbor till Oct 24, 2010, I managed to grab tickets with the family to see OVO on opening night on September 9, 2010. Prior to show time I assumed to see the acts to be similar to other Cirque Du Soleil, but I was wrong. OVO opened my eyes wide open. I loved every act and loved every costume, music and scenery.
I do not want to ruin what is the ending and storyline of OVO but I will give a base story, OVO show looks at the world of insects and its biodiversity where they go about their daily lives until a mysterious egg appears in their midst, as the insects become awestruck about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives.
I recommend everyone of all ages to see OVO but I do advise if you have a child that may be afraid of insect costumes, do not take them with you unless you want to take the risk of screaming and crying.
I give OVO 9.5/10..

Halo: Reach a Contender for Game of the Year?

The most anticipated game since has finally arrived, Halo: Reach. Since it's release on September 14, 2010, Halo: Reach has made over $200 Million dollars in sells! I was able to pre-order Halo: Reach before it was released and was able to grab the promotional armor gamestop offered if you pre-ordered. On September 17, 2010, I finished the Campaign on Normal Difficulty and was able to play a couple rounds online.

The story of Halo: Reach takes place during the year 2552 shortly after the events that occured in Halo: Combat Evolved, The UNSC (United Space Nations Command) have been at war against a collective space race known as the Covenant and at this point in time, all of humanity's interstellar colonies have fallen.

In Halo: Reach, the player plays as Noble 6 who has recently joined the Noble Team on a mission, to discover why a relay station went offline. Suspecting human rebels causing the issue, the Noble Team soons discovers that the Covenant is behind all the mess.

Who is the Noble Team you may ask? They are a UNSC special operations unit made up of elite supersoldiers known as Spartans, Members of Noble Team is of course Noble 6 who is played by you, leader Carter, Kat, heavy weapon specialist Jorge, Emile, and marksman Jun.

     What I like about Halo: Reach which has majorily seperated itself from the other Halo games in the franchise, is the fact players are now able to have special ablities that no other Halo has included. The Graphics are beyond what I expected, the color and sharpness of the picture is superb throughout the game even though at some points lag and frame drops occur. Given the ability to customize and personalize your Spartan which as well includes Noble 6 during Campaign mode has made earning armor more honorable, during both campaign and mulitplayer play, you are rewarded for everything you do, for every style of play, which allows you to earn credits which can be used to unlock more customizable gear for your spartan that will show up both in campaign and mulitplayer.
    Although the Campaign was excellent I found the story to be rather short than past Halo games, another thing I like about Halo: Reach is that majority of the vehicles are drivable! Forklift Ftw!
    Overall I love what Halo: Reach has to offer and I love that there is a different feel to the game. I recommend every Xbox 360 user to pick up a copy and play! Because for my ratings I give Halo: Reach a 9.5 out of 10!
